Casting and Scouting

Following the casting of Khadija Adam in the Miss Kenya competition back in the mid 80’s which led to her international discovery, Lyndsey was employed as the national scout for ‘Face of Africa’ for two years.  During that time she discovered international model Eva Ndachi in Nakuru.

Later the company became the Kenyan license holder for the Ford Supermodel of the World Search and traversed the country looking for new faces for the 7 international finals that Kenya participated in.  In 2004 Ajuma Nasanyana became an overnight sensation when she became the first black model to win a contract in an international modelling competition that was not specifically for models of colour.

Kiseme Parsapayet was picked from among a number of masai that Surazuri cast for an international campaign for Bono’s Red crusade.  Lyndsey flew with Kiseme to London to shoot with supermodel, Gisele Bundchen.

Surazuri’s work has been featured on National Geographic ‘The Skin we’re in’, Voice of America, German ZDF television and Fashion TV, as well as in articles published in the New York Times, Herald Tribune, Sunday Observer (UK), Face Magazine (UK), The Strait Times (Asia), Globe and Mail (Canada), Gala Magazine (France), Daily Record (Scotland), Allegra Magazine (Germany), V Magazine (USA), The Independent (UK), Msafiri (inflight magazine of Kenya Airways) as well as many East African publications.

We have supplied models and cast for hundreds of films, TV commercials and multi media campaigns locally and internationally.   If we do not have what you require on our books, we can be employed to search for what you need.
